Howard Playground, First Visit

Members of the Mission Continues joined with Yale Community Connect to begin painting the basketball courts at howard playground in Brooklyn on july 7, 2018. The court design was the idea of local children, and features the color purple as a way of combining red and blue -- the colors typically worn by local gang members. After the court were painted, the group headed to Three Black Cats Cafe for lunch.
