Big Rock Beach, Second Visit

shortly after the first volunteering project at big rock beach in College point, Queens, members of the Mission Continues returned on OCt. 24, 2020 to continue helping to clean up the beach. they also began finalizing plans to restore the steps leading down to the beach from the street. The Coastal Preservation Network joined in the efforts, which included a presentation from a marine biologist about the dangers of microplastics.
